Maisie (Italian duo Alberto Scotti and Cinzia LaFauci) penned the dissonant and cartoonish divertissement The Incredible Strange Choir Of Paracuwaii (1999) under the aegis of Frank Zappa and Dada.

Do You Remember When You Found Your Lud in My Nostril? (2000) is another post-modern container of stylistic debris, a merry-go-round of distorted echoes of the consumer age.

After Music is a Fish Defrosted with a Hair Dryer (2002), a rendition of new Maisie compositions by the French avantgarde collective (reeds, keyboards, percussion) led by Falter Bramnk (Frank Lambert), a revisitation of poulist jazz fanfares and easy-listening muzak in the manner of progressive-rock (Dick Smart, Uxoricide Waltz, Las Momias) and a few cacophonous gags (Mr Clam Is Still Missing, Sadist of Notre Dame), the more ambitious Bacharach for President (2003) sounds like a summary of American B-music, i.e. the music of underground musicians, of the last 30 years.

I Maisie (duo italiano formato da Alberto Scotti e Cinzia La Fauci) compongono The Incredible Strange Choir Of Paracuwaii (1999), un dissonante, dadaista divertissement da cartoon, influenzato da Frank Zappa.

Do You Remember When You Found Your Lud in My Nostril?
